My nesting boxes were delivered today.

Got 15 eggs right now, waiting on a Brahma to give me the last egg.

The Red JungleFowl hybrids are now laying again, so spring has arrived. It's 41°F right now.

I just caught one of my neighbor's hens and went to bring it back to them. They told me they sold their other chickens and I asked if I could keep the two that have been living in the pig pasture for two months. They said yes!!! The white hen is actually quite friendly. My mother won't let me put them in the coop though because she says I have too many roosters and they'll just breed them constantly. The hens that I have now don't even have missing feathers though!

If you have too many rooster with the current amount of hens giving them more hens is a good thing.....
