Why would anybody rant about dogs? they're perfect

My parents are anti pet so I'm bascially invested into every animal I want to own when I'm older. I convinced them to get chickens because they are helpful because they lay eggs but then they all died and my parents said no more bc they attract flies

Doggos as a whole are indeed perfect
Making horribly unhealthy cross breeds on purpose, and marketing them as a miniature version of the breed for profit is certainly not perfect and it makes me angry lol

My childhood dog was a Jack russell terrier.

My parents are anti 'turning suburban lot into a farm' so I've currently got four types of animals but only two are solely my responsibility (chickens and crabs) while the other two are family pets (cat and dog)
