They all are like that. Mine even started out like that at the same age. I just never took a frontal view of mine.

They're cold hardy.
When my original chicks were moved out, some were still about half naked, & made it through a 39°F night. This was night 2.

I did have a Buff Orpington die of heat stroke 2 days ago. Wasn't happy, since she was my biggest hen, & was planning on breeding her.

Temps have been very hot, heat wave will be breaking soon, which will be great.

I'm sorry. It's so dissapointing when that happens. I'm worried my bunny will die before the fall when she's ready to be bred.
