Yesterday my birds water froze bad, but today they weren't too badly frozen.

I really really want to hatch eggs next spring, but I don’t think I’ll have room. My grandma might be getting chickens next year though, so maybe I can hatch some for her!

I told DH that I wanted to hatch some eggs next spring, if one of the hens goes broody. He said, "I'd like to see that." I thought he meant he'd like to see a chicken hatch some eggs.

No, he wanted to see me hatch some eggs. Cuz he's silly like that. And, it is what I said...

I have yet to wash my brooder down for the next batch. I did clean one of the chicken pens today, though.

My brooders will be getting cleaned next year before chicks arrive, or hatched.
