Wow.. these are 150$ on amazon.ca
Can’t seem to find any in stock at home hardware
Curious how it works for you, couple people on amazon saying the heating part didn’t work.

My chickens live in the same room with the goats (they are separated by a fence, but they have one room), so in winter the room is very warm (i have more as 20 goats) there the water does not freeze. Although the drinking water is usually a little warm, because the storage tank, where cold water from the well enters, is wrapped with a special heating cable (I did this as a precaution so that in severe frost it does not freeze and burst), and the water in it is usually not cold.
But the drinking system here is very primitive, I just put pipes around the entire perimeter and made taps, and pour water into old pots, and goats drink from a trough installed in a reinforced concrete bathtub with tiles (dirty water flows through the pipe, and does not remain in room).
I don't have such a heated chicken thing, they don't sell them here. And the price, if converted into Russian currency, will be almost a golden pan ))
Some of my friends use something similar, but more primitive and homemade. They usually experiment with old pots and heating cables )

I haven’t tried mine yet but I hope the heater works! It’s the best thing I can find for our situation. I got ours a lot a local feed store. Will your HH order one in for you?

Unfortunately, I cannot use it this year, as I have one pullet how is blind and can't figure out the nipples. So I'm using a heated base and fount waterer this winter. I hope it can do as well as that Farm Innovators one, as it really impressed me.
