I was gifted with a Farm Innovators incubator model 2200 and the auto turner model 3200 this past Friday. I set them up and everything was working fine and quietly. I had additional thermometer/hygrometers set up, temps were holding great with no spikes and everything. Yesterday the turner started making plastic on plastic noise, not much but noticeable. Today I can hear it from across the room. I opened the bator(with eggs in it) and saw that a couple of the trays had popped out on one end and it didn't seem to be turning today, popped them back in place easily and now everything seems to be in working order except the dang thing is still noisy. A call to FI told me that the noise is normal. Really? It's a tiny bit quieter now and doing its job, no temp spikes although I didn't put any eggs near the motor knowing that it can get hot.
Anyone else have this and have a cure? I'm thinking of putting it in the laundry room after my other incubator in there is hatched out just because of the noise.
