Farm name help

I'm in the process of going through the steps to become NPIP certified and breeding silkies and possibly Cochin. I'm in need of a name. We used to call our place (amongst ourselves) Over Easy Ranch. We only a backyard chicken farmers with around 20 chickens.

Any suggestions?

I like Over Easy.

You could go off your name---A&B Silkies, Smith Silkies, Silkie Smiths, something like that.

What else is there about your place? Any local geography to pull from? Or street names?

What kind of trees are those? You could go with (Insert tree name) Ridge, along those lines.

You can put Silkies in the name and still have other breeds, or you can go with Poultry, Chickens, etc.

I'm Circle Lazy B.....we have different critters so don't add Poultry, Beef, etc. But when I was wanting to do only chickens, I was going with Blue Hen Poultry.

I like Over Easy, not sure if I prefer the ranch part but maybe if it makes you feel good when you say it.

Not diggin' Silkies in the name since breeds can change at any time.

Will you be focusing on chicks, eggs, whole chickens? What is your end goal?

Maybe.... Sunny Side Up or Over Easy Acres or Over Easy Hill or Tennessee Over Easy...

You could call yourself by your first name or surname and then poultry,fowl,silkie etc
I call myself "Fionn's fowl"
As in Fionn is my name and fowl for the chickens

So no eating eggs at all?

I will be brain storming still. Leaning toward chicks and hatching instead of something that sounds cooked. But I do like the Over Easy. So trying to figure something that goes with that.

Thinking of calling myself Happy Chick Egg Farm. But was also considering asking for ideas here, never got up the guts.

Have you done google searches for the names you are considering just to make sure it isn't out there already? In my area, we have to post a ficticious business name statement in the newspaper in 3 different publications in the county of operation for two weeks. I guess it gives anyone the opportunity to let you know they already have it registered or something like that.

Are you considering a web site as well?

I have gotten eggs for myself but I'm seriously considering going all Silkie. Black, white and paint are my favorites. I was brainstorming early this am considering Sunrise / Sunset S Farms/ Acres or Sunrise / Sunset Silkies

Yes, website and Facebook . Will be shipping the eggs ( in process of being NPIP certified) and selling young chicks by pickup only
