Very nice photos, Sanna! The dog getting older story reminds me of an old cat that just died of old age a couple of years ago. The summer before the winter she died, she started losing it. A bunch of barn swallow birds nest in my barn every year. She was stalking them...they all took off flying out of the barn when I walked in one day....she got excited and attacked my leg like I was a wildebeest and she a lioness on the african plains.....it was funny as heck...just tore into me....lol. She did the same exact thing to my dog the next time....lol. Then attacked the hose as I pulled it through the yard...lol...all kinds of things that never would of happened before....

Here's Ace at his first show. My first show too. We did it and we survived!

Had tons of fun, met some really nice people and learned a bunch.




And there's Ace after BV. I think he was done posing at this point. Couldn't get a good picture no matter how hard I tried. lol

I've had a bit of an absence here! 2 weeks ago we lost our two little chicks to a random dog attack. 2 days later I made the mistake of going in the farm store to buy chicken food, I came out with 9 baby chicks..

What are the breeds of your chick pictures? Sorry about your chicks.....Had 3 Wyandotte chicks & 1 WR/W cross-6 weeks old, I went out this morning to feed them & 2 were gone

I had one area with maybe 3/4" wide slats, there were feathers on the bars. I put hardware cloth in that area now-a little too late

It's so sad to lose them so unexpectedly like that.. mine aren't free ranging anymore unless someone is home (plus I don't want 12+ chickens running amok where the kids play lol). Last few weekends I have been busy fencing in a 20'x20' run and then setting rocks around the base

The first 2 pics are of the same EE, next is a Wyandotte (not sure on the color), then a Barred Rock and a Black Australorp

. You have a show coming up right? Been meaning to reply on those foals you jusy got and where they came from. I believe I know what you are talking about, but haven't looked it up yet! I'll try and post a pic of my pet bull there I'm pictured with bucking. They knew their job...it was neat. I was raising them such a short time that he was the only one I bred and raised that got old enough to buck.

countrygirl74 is sillier than silly ducks....lol....and ducks are the silliest...

. ...but thanks! You'll have your dream place without a doubt someday!!! You'll probably get it handed to ya with all the good carma building up from helping the duck newbies along in their journey...lol.
