Big Girl my Berkshire sow...she's about to have babies











































I burned corn for awhile in protest to the high propane, but it didn't last long. The auger in the corn stove broke and I'm not going to fix it I don't think. It's a real smokey, smelly, dirty heat, imo.





Been hangin' clothes out to dry even in the below zero weather. Funny how it still dries, even though the stuff freezes before I hardly even get it hung up. I was haning up a down comforter the other day...the down froze in hard little balls on the way out and the wind whipped it as I was hanging it up, giving my quite the beating....lol.




I've been buying house plants....lol.






I don't have a way to burn wood yet, but am working on it....I just like to split wood. Backyard fires are awesome imo anyway, so I'll have wood for that.

3acres, you like splitting wood? Where is that helicopter when I need it... This is pretty much the only reason we don't use our wood stove.. I have the absolute worst hand eye coordination.. This is why we don't use an axe when we butcher our chickens.. Aim is terrible!
