Oooo, love me some coyotes!

The juveniles have been kicked out of the dens here and are yipping like sirens at all hours trying to find brethren to run with. I love listening to them, not so keen on the neighborhood dogs that sound the alert for far longer than the coyotes' serenade.
Yeah, same here. I seen 2 young'uns the other day jumping through tall grass in my pastures because they couldn't see where they were going and for some reason were in a hurry...they ended up running right into 4 of my horses...all were startled....it was funny!...lol. I am out doing chores a lot at all hours of the night and always stop and listen to them when they get to howling. It is funny to hear dogs try their hand at howling back at them...

. I don't have a good zoom lens, so if I post pics of such a nature, I'm very close right in front of what is in the picture.....all up in their grill so to speak....haha...hehe...

I don't remember very well how that chick photo shoot went. lol I do remember that it was a hassle though, with the chicks running around of course. I think if you get them at a few days old, before they get really quick on their feet, it would probably be easier.

I think it's a great idea that my little mini me give everyone here Christmas presents.

She probably won't think it's as great of an idea because she's 15 and doesn't have a lot of money, as she always tells me. LOL She probably has more money than any other 15 year old I know. She works hard, saves her money and knows how to budget.

I wouldn't want this one looking at me.

Maybe he's mad because you interrupted his hunt. Hopefully, he's not after your critters.

I did interrupt his hunt. I've been lucky so far....it helps I'm always here and always out there. Here in a few months I'll have the most lambs, baby goats and piglets I've ever had and the coyote population seems to keep getting bigger here the last couple years. I've noticed a big increase in coyote activity at night on my place....that worries me some.

Those were neat photos you posted a ways back...the bridge and all that!

. I always had lots of money when I was younger....I even acted like a bank for my parents on small stuff....lol. Nowadays...I never have 2 nickels to rub together....
lol.png
. It's hard to keep a few hundred critters outfitted with clothes, shoes and food...
lol.png
. I'm guessing you probably know all about that out there!

I had a little duck photo shoot the other evening...might go through those pics here soon.

beautiful mallard hen - are their feet usually that dark or is that from the cold? They have to have cold feet - no feathers for insulation.

It's probably from something they did to them during hair and makeup....I rarely see them before they go into the trailer, just when they come out...then it's bam bam bam I get the shots and a new model comes out...I don't even talk to them or get their names most of the time....

. Their pond is completely froze over now, but they are tough as nails when it comes to the cold. As their pond was freezing over, they just had a ball still....diving under the water, eating stuff off of the bottom, playing, flapping their wings....it doesn't seem to bother them one bit.
