Thanks!

My favorite thing about cats is the fact that they're so independent. You can't make them do anything, you just can't. lol And when they choose to come be with you, it makes it that much more special.

I have 5 rescue cats right now, each of them have their own story. None of them are lap cats, I never had one of those. Wish I did! lol But I have one that sleeps on my pillow every night. Another one that comes and crawls under the blankets when it's cold, other times she comes and plops down between myself and my boyfriend.  The third one likes to sleep between my legs, and I've even woken up a few times with her sleeping on my chest. The other two rarely sleep in the bed, probably too crowded for their taste. But they do and nap on the bed while we watch movies! Go figure. lol

Very true lol although I did teach Luna some tricks. :p not much though, just sit, come, and up which is just what it sounds like, stretch up on two paws. Only with treats usually though except come (a whistle) and sometimes it takes some convincing but still. But very true. I love when she wants to cuddle.

Awww that's awesome. They sound pretty cuddly. :) Luna doesn't cuddle mucb during the day, just nearby, but is sometimes. Haha. I want more cats. They're awesome. But first I should clean the litter box aha

Well there is no shortage of kitties in the world that need loving homes ;) get two! :) lol all five of our cats were ferals or semi-ferals and 4 of the five were bottle raised. Even Luna's Mom was a mostly feral barn cat. And in my experience the ones you have to work for their trust make the best pets. Luna's great buys she's a little more of a stereotypical cat. She's sweet but very much on her terms. We have one other cat like that we took in as a yearling feral when I grabbed her as she ran out and would have been under a semi tire. I believe she belonged to someone maybe but was abandoned and joined a feral colony. She was also in heat which made her easier to handle.

True that! I'd love to gwt two, especially since then if Luna didn't like them they'd still have each other and/or to match energy but I don't know if my family would go for having three cats haha they're more dog people. But then again no one's really home anymore so I could be like too bad. :p

But oh wow, that's really awesome. :) and I assume they're mostly pretty friendly now or at least not scared and mean and feral still? That's great you caught that one. :)

Luna is usually on her terms too lol but when she's friendly she's really friendly and stays. Our old cat Mittens was a big huge orange male and loved EVERYONE. Huge lovebug and would just lay there forever. I've heard orange males are some of the friendliest. I'd love another orange male or a tuxedo kitty. My mom thinks orange kitties are ugly though. :(

Oh yeah they're all very friendly and not mean at all. We had a feral colony in our town-it moved to our backyard- that we cared for and they did great. We used to have to be careful opening the doors because they would try to come in the house. They were even great with our dogs except when one of the females hid a litter in our yard she was very touchy about the dogs otherwise they'd be rubbing up on the dogs and on us.
If you take the time to gain a feral's trust I think you'd be surprised how strong the bond and trust is.

This is my huge orange "Fluff" ball. :) him and his sister were part of a litter that our feral "Momma" brought to us when they got very bad eye infections and her milk dried up. They were three and a half weeks old eyes caked with puss. Fluff's eyes actually were sealed shut with the puss and he bit through my mother's finger when she picked him up because he was scared and blind. Now he never uses his claws except on the bath tub he likes the smooth feeling.

He also has a heart on his right front foot. I always say he wears his heart on his sleeve.

as you can see with the girls we have a Gilligan's island theme going and of course Kramer is from Seinfeld, mom named him.

This is my Luna who I hand-raised from a day old after her mom and whole litter were hit by a lawn mower.

This is the night I got her.

Sorry about the picture quality also Luna is licking in the first pic lol BC she just ate.

Sorry about the other cats. Luna is adorable!
