Thank you everyone, his name is Jericho!

While on the horsey topic, let me share a few old photos of Hurricane the day we brought him home.

So cute!

He was 5 months old. He will be 2 in only a couple of weeks and is an energetic, friendly, and curious little guy. He will heel like a dog while you are in their pasture. The first month we had him, he was in a small paddock adjacent to our other horses. Anytime one of them came up to his fence to inspect him, he would part his lips and gnash his little baby teeth (their 'I'm just a baby, please be nice!' message) before becoming excited and zipping around his paddock. I plan on taking a few photos of him today since I only really have recent cell phone photos of him.

Lol I think you should

I just love your peacocks, let me know when you're able to start selling especially your whites I can't wait until I can get some peas

Right now I don't ship peafowl. I know there's one person in the peafowl forum section that ships peafowl and he has some yearling Whites. When I'm done with college and Vet school and start getting more peafowl again than I'll start shipping peafowl. If you're still looking for Whites or other colors let me know. I would like to own 14 peafowl varieties, having three trios for each variety. I would like to own Indian Blue, Indian Blue Black Shoulder, Indian Blue Pied, Indian Blue Silver Pied, White, Cameo, Peach, Purple, Violeta, Taupe, Opal, Charcoal, Bronze, and Java Greens. I will have a total of 126 breeding peafowl.

He's a beauty!
Thank you!

Thank you! I can't wait for his train to grow in. He will get his adult train feathers this fall and by spring time it should be fully grown. Once I get big enough in peafowl farming, to the point I can start shipping, and if you don't have a White you can contact me. I do know another person in the peafowl forum area that says they ship peafowl and that they have lots of Whites. Make a thread in the peafowl forum and you'll get some people.
Sadly, I'm not in a position to have a peacock of my own yet. I live on the farm I work for, and technically our male, Crazy Horse, belongs to the farm even though I got him here. lol
I'm currently looking into getting a new job, I just don't get paid enough for what I do. Time to move on with life, so someday I can have my own house with enough land to have a bunch of chickens and one of those white peacocks!

Ok. Well just to let you know it will be at least 8+ years before I can expand my peafowl flock.

Although, I hear people say they're loud. Would it be enough to annoy me? Like if I was in my house or on the deck and trying to listen to music or having a party or whatever (unlikely but ya know) would they be heard over it, interrupting? Hahah

If so, maybe I'll move them to a far corner.. planning on lots and lots and lots of acres :p
