LOVE it!!! A great picture no matter what camera you were using!

I know everyone must get tired of me gushing over the photographs, but I sincerely love them and getting to see everyone's pictures is like a glimpse into your lives. That sounds kind of creepy I guess and I don't mean it like that at all, but it is just so fascinating to me.

I agree! Not creepy :)

Here is one of my favourite images I have. Not because of the quality (I had a terrible camera at this time), but because of the magnificence of my models. It's all on them here. Sadly both cats are passed on, but they were the best cats I have ever owned. Father is on the bottom, daughter on top. I just needed to share this.
As much as many of the pictures posted here have been beautiful... and often even gorgeous... this one has a story that is precious! You are right Aoxa... it is all them! Purrfect!!!

That was Sassy and quite a love! She passed last Spring at the age of 26. She does look a lot like your Shrimp.

Sassy is gorgeous! My favorite color of a horse.

She's a pure Arab?

Need I say more? lol
The chances of getting a shot like that are slim to none at my house...I have 4 cats.

They don't get along that nicely. That is priceless.

My God, I would have a ball at your place with my camera!

We have several of the animals here on our farm but not scenery like that. I love the horses at the pond. They look so shiny, healthy and well fed (not saying that as a bad thing!). We don't have that kind of acreage...or land. That's the way horse should live. Be free and run like the wind!!!

I'll trade ya my land and scenery for your guinea pigs???

I don't have them yet and am jealous...lol. It does look like you have quite the variety of critters!

You're selling yourself short! These pictures are awesome! I quoted my very favourites. That last one being the cutest <3 So adorable.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I spend a lot of time just hanging with the cow herd. The horses pond picture was taking while I was grilling on the deck. I spent 3 weeks stomach tube feeding that calf in the bottom pic thinking that everyday I would find him dead....wouldn't suck. On the 22nd or 23rd day, I opened the tack room door and he about knocked me over with new found life. I had been milking his mom along the way and I put them together and off they went. Like your cat pic, lots of memories and stories behind all these pics! I think those brahma babies are hard to beat for cuteness. I'll throw some in the mix.

I LOVE all your pictures, I would be walking around pointing and clicking also!!!

Thank you! I find it a lot of fun to capture all the stuff I see and to be able to look back on them!

All three of you take awesome pics!

I have a lot more chicks coming with breeds I don't have and am getting turkeys...can't wait until they are here and can take pics of them! I'm also going back in time and am going to start packing salt and mineral to cattle with mules and doing all I can with draft horses....don't have the draft horses yet but can't wait to start using them and taking pics of that stuff.

You'll have to talk to our Tiny Trotter kids about those guinea pigs!

I think we have 18 guinea pigs and they all have a job. We run a program called Tiny Trotters, 2 days a week, for preschool kids that come for a farm tour, they get to feed some goats and the guinea pigs, make a fun craft, eat a snack and last but not least, pony ride.
We do have all sorts of animals here. Somewhere around 50+ equines (horses, ponies, donkies, mules + zedonk) and over a 100 other animals. A little something for everyone.

You know, it's those good stories that make the pictures even better.

Ahhh!!! I love Brahma babies!!!! !

I do too! There aren't any around up here...I'm too far north although mine did just fine. I sadly sold my last brahma about a year ago thinking I needed to just have all black cows and make money.....I regret that decision.

That sounds like an awesome thing you are doing!!!! I'll pass on the guinea pigs, as I don't want to be beat up by preschoolers...

. That's a lot of critters!.....again, awesome that kids get to go experience all that! I talked to a guy and his wife that build yard fence in Kansas City for home owners the other day...they run into people that don't know where eggs come from.....crazy to imagine.

Without a doubt the stories make 'em even better. I especially love critter pictures because they are so dependant on us to live a heathly life. Lots of things behind a pic of a healthy animal. I love all that goes with it and love being able to look back on all this.
