Did that pony just stand there while your son was lassoing her?? Doesn't look like she moved a whole lot. She looks like she's an excellent baby sitter and worth her weight in gold, I bet.

She does just stand there. Every thing here is broke to just stand and be roped. I surfed the net all over for a good pony...a four state area. I found her on a site and couldn't believe she was only 5 miles from me....lol. She is about 20. Great on the roads and in the lots...can keep right up with big horses....a little too much energy in the pasture at times, but is real safe and a great pony! I was glad to hear the people she came from disciplines their horses just like I do and she fits right in. I never had a pony, so when nobody's looking, I say she is mine and I hug her....lol.

It's hard to find horses like that. Older ones are more likely to stand for a lot of things but young ones, not so much. lol I find that horses on the east coast don't seem to get exposed to as many things as horses down south, midwest etc do.. Maybe it's just me but I swear those REALLY good, quiet horses come from areas where people actually USE their horses for real work. Not just riding and looking pretty.

Of course I'm a big cat lover and love these pictures! Actually, my friends keep calling me the crazy cat lady. I have four kitties.

I have a little black one that gives me the EXACT same expressions as yours in the first picture. She also gives me the same rolling poses when she goes outside. lol These aren't great pictures but you get the idea. lol Took them a few years back. And yes, she wears a harness when she goes outside. She loves it!

And, your little kitty has a face like my tortie, Wednesday Addams.

Then there's little Lucy, my Christmas kitten. Same color. She's a terrorist!

These Tortieshells are all terrorists I tell you! I've had other ones and all are like that :)
Ok, thanks! You can see the squares in the picture real bad on most of everything I have tried to blow up. It's sad to get nicely written "you suck" letters from the printing companies....lol.

I apologize for typing your user name wrong in a post above! ...didn't mean to!

Thanks!

...and, thanks! I will be looking into it!
It's okay. I get my user named typed wrong a lot :)

And that's a REAL horse right there!

That's great.

This is Race Car, one of our minis. The kids play around with these little ones so much that nothing bothers them. Once the kids threw a fake bear skin on him, it literally covered the whole horse, face and all. Race Car was able to see where he was going. He scared all the other minis with his new 'outfit' but of course he thought it was the coolest thing ever.

And now that I'm in charge of all our young horses, I try to expose them to as much as possible. Tarps and things are their favorite "toys" to play with. Hopefully when they're all grown up, they'll be like your horse.

When the Bible calls Jesus 'meek' it means 'power under restraint' - perfectly illustrated in this pict.
LOVE THIS - may I keep a copy?
