Sanna : I don't know if there is an "English pleasure" class, but that guy looks like he would be a good fit for western pleasure! Grats on the first ride!

Aoxa : do you have a Belgian? Looks like a potential one in pic #11. (On my phone, sucks to copy the pics). And the goat one made me giggle. As well as those ewes!!! They are soooo huge! I love how round all their wool makes them!

It is probably obvious, but what type of bird is this? Looks part African hedgehog!
It's a 2 week old homing pigeon :)

None of these animals are my own, but I will be getting two pigs from this friend, and I hope to get some of their Royal Palms again. They are gorgeous.

I don't know if they are Belgians or not - sorry :) I'll have to see which picture you mean. Oh the horses.. still not sure. The one in the front is absolutely stunning. She is HUGE too.

Yeah, Raisin would probably make a darn good western pleasure horse. He's sooo mellow and laid back...and a little slow too.

I don't know much about western, but he seems to move like a western pleasure horse also. Unfortunately he landed here with us where we mostly ride english and dressage. Some hunt seat and jumping. I personally prefer an english saddle, but if Raisin wants to be a western horse, he can.

So the garden is starting to look like more than just a bunch of dirt piles now. Everything has sprouted and is growing so nicely. The new brooder is finished and sits in the corner under the Mesquite tree, and the pond is full of lovely little 'Faux Koi'. (Ok, they're just fancy goldfish, but just as pretty to look at). I snapped a few pictures while I walked through with my coffee yesterday morning.

The peeps just waking up and starting to chirp and scratch and flutter about.

The sunshine was just perfect for garden photos

The dew hadn't yet dried from the tips of the dill leaves

Even the bugs were out and about already

Nothing special here...just the grass in my paths between beds, still holding dew

One of the cute little .29 goldfish...err...Faux Koi fish, enjoying some breakfast ;o)
