Here are the place where live some of my fowl

On the first floor i store the grass )))

And take it sometimes when i need.

I hope i will finish to build this house for my animals next summer.

I take some grass from 1st floor and put it on top (where live my fowl), and when begin the spring i take all dirty grass and use it in my garden.
On the 1st floor aren`t any fowl, i store there only a grass. Now there aren`t electricity, i don`t need it there now. I take the grass when are the sun, i can see all what i want (of course under the 1st floor are the electricity).
But two little windows in 1st floor are in another side on the top of the wall. I think that`s enough.
I don`t build any windows on this side because there will be another rooms. The window from one room to another room is a strange idea )))

The room where are the fowl have 3 windows - to north, west and south. And i have one small stove there. The tube are not where the grass and it is not dangerous.
Awesome build. Love the hay loft.

They don't tolerate sun well, but the heat isn't a huge issue. As long as they have shade and water, they deal well with reasonable heat (lets say under 100F, because I don't remember ever going about 93 without the humidex last summer). Last summer we were really warm with the humidity factored in, though probably not even close to your hottest days,

We didn't have any AC either.
In the summer my fowl walk everywhere, usually under the trees in my garden and in my little park. There always fall some apples, cherry and plum, and they like to eat it.
I use the stove sometimes, when i don`t use it the air... I don`t know how tell it correct in english... In the air are too much water, the air begin to be bad and cold. Of course i open the doors and windows when i need, but i use the stove too. The weather here are +30 C in the summer and -30 C in the winter. It change sometimes (for example today are +2 C, this winter are very strange for the Moscow - i am russian, live near of the Moscow - 50 km to the city).
The grass here was 7000 ruble (200 $) 2000 kg. Maybe this is too much for 18 geeses, 10 ducks, 3 turkey and 7 chikens

but i buy it all. I have enough place for store it ))) Next time i will buy the goats - i hope the grass can be stored there 1-2 years. I buy it in Internet, the another farmers sell it and used the lorry for sent it. Of course i have some grass here too, but i am not sure that i will have enough. And i buy it, it was more easy (i was too busy all the summer, i build this house for my fowl).

Can i ask (my english sometimes in not very good) - what is this: "AC"?

I think that you are referring to the ' humidity ' in the air ( moisture ) and AC is air conditioning. Your barn looks great!

Pasha, what you describe about your fowl being loose to roam and forage (search) for food and goodies is what we refer to as 'free ranging' in English. Hay (or what you refer to as grass) as we know it in the US has storage life based on humidity (amount of water or moisture in the air), ventilation (air flow or movement) and how dry it was when it was stored. If it was well dried when you stored it then you should be good for at least a year with it as long as it doesn't get wet from leaking roof or high humidity.

AC is Air Conditioner... common term for the unit that cools and re-circulates air during hot weather.
Your English is very impressive for someone learning a foreign language... if you have any words or terms or abbreviations (like AC) you are not sure of please ask us and we will be glad to help you with them.

Ah, thanks, AC is an air conditioner! Now i understand.
No, i will think about that only when i finish the building. I need one summer more )))
Now (and in the future too) i have enough free wood for the stove, and if i enter to there every day - i can use the stove. Now i control the air only by the doors, window and stove. Next time (when i will have much fowl) i will do anything normal.

And as i understand this is a free randing:

Thanks for your help. I hope to get one good dictionary, but always don`t have enough time for go to the city and for buy it. I think when i will go to buy the incubators in the Moscow, i will go to the book-shop too. Now i can`t get out from my house too far - the fowl always need the food, heating, looking how are the air... I really begin to think about the conditioner and ventilation system )))
