That is an axolotl, I think that's who axolotllove loves.  I'd love him/her too, if it were mine.  So lovable.

Yup. That's Charlie. A giant golden albino axolotl. 15inch long which is huge for a lotl. He's a funny lil guy. Axolotls are like lizard fish, they live in water, but have legs and walk around. They don't have scales, but they have fleshy skin. The have gills, but they can come out of water (for very short periods of time)
I got him for about $100, which is a really good price, usually one like him are very expensive since axolotls are an endangered species.

We had a Canadian female goose once. She was caught by wildlife rehabilitators or something like that, and she could not be released back to the wild. She ended up passing away with us from old age. She was very friendly! And they're so beautiful. Have you thought of a pair of swans, btw?? Wouldn't that be fun? The whooper swan is the national bird of Finland so maybe I'm a little bias. lol

Yes, leaving my current job is very bittersweet...but honestly, June can't get here fast enough! I'm so ready to get out of here and move on with my life. And you're right, the day I get to dive back into the world of chickens, I'll have all the knowledge that I've learned so far to help me get going again. It'll happen, I'll make sure of it! lol

Terribly sorry for this really late reply!!! I will post pics of the duck pens...almost done....nothing fancy. Swans would be real cool to have! I even like the black ones. Most of the zoos around here have them and I always enjoy watching them for sure. Maybe someday they'll be here!...
