Farm Related Photography. Pictures are the best Advertisement!

"3" I went back to the very beginning of this thread and so far read the first 100 pages - you were very active then, and I didn't remember your sense of humor. You are(were?) to hard on yourself. Your pictures were stunning from the beginning. I used to email them to everyone who was sick of chicken pictures. I found out how "3 acres," is really big enough to have camels, and zebras and buffalo , and cattle, etc. That's okay when I raised dogs - I used the Golden Acre prefix, in the beginning we had a 35' city lot in Chicago. The only gold was the dandelions.

When we moved out 46.5 years ago, we blossomed to 1/3" of an acre- which seemed HUGE to us.

PS don't see as well as I used to but, I didn't notice you "from the saddle", maybe I imagined it all. Or the next 100 pages might reveal it. I always thought that was so cool & mysterious.

My computer got to where I couldn't ever do anything on this site for some reason. I still have problems....especially if I try to do anything very often on here. It gets to where I can't post a reply, won't quote anything and won't post the reply or pics I'm trying to post. ??? I I don't remember which from the saddle pics I've posted on here but I'm pretty sure I have...I have lots and have taken some recently even that I may post. ...been spending a lot more time out with the herd.

Terribly sorry for this really late reply!!! I will post pics of the duck pens...almost done....nothing fancy. Swans would be real cool to have! I even like the black ones. Most of the zoos around here have them and I always enjoy watching them for sure. Maybe someday they'll be here!...

. Again sorry! Time is flying! I've been calving out my new cows, added Holland Lop bunnies today...super cute...just weaned...3 girls and a buck...can't wait for babies, put my first mini donkey jennet on hold...can't wait to get her and more of them....she's a real dark one...really good looking mom I think...need some gray ones now, my Muscovy hens that have been sitting are starting to hatch out their babies, my Toulouse geese are tons of fun walking around caring for their babies...I'm caring for 6 of the ones they hatched, just lots of neat stuff going on!...

Sounds like you're super busy with all the critters!

But it all sounds like a lot of fun also. I can't wait to move to New York, for my new job. I'm so burnt out here at the farm, and just simply DONE. Time for a new life soon!

I tried goikg on on my computer the other day and found it was so SLOW. Hit subscriptions or to open a thread and it took FOREVER. I think theres too much going on, too many pics and titles and such plus all the ads/malware and cookies running underneath however it didn't use to be so slow so idk. I have decided to only use mobile from now on. Much faster and easier. Although lately i havent been able to post pics and some have had the same troubles and have to switch to desktop view to post. Some have had issues with the quotes and toolbar too. I think there are a lot of issues with the site lately. But the weird thing is it seems they keep saying it's weird no one else or not a lot of others have reported issues when i seem to hear constant stories. well maybe not the exact same issue but enough that i think something is clearly going on with the site rather than individuals computers

I had a Windows tablet with an older version of Windows and IE 7 or 8....it got absolutely horrible about navigating the site and I could rarely quote or finish a post without it freezing. I would have to delete cookies and history every time I got on BYC and sometimes more than once if I was trying to post pictures.

I gave up on Microsoft products and have gone to a samsung android tablet. Much simpler and no more problems!
