Farmer field sprays a threat to my ducks?

So we have a section of our yard that butts up against the field that our flock of ducks will free range in during the day. I know the fields get treated with insecticide and herbicide and there's nothing i can do about that. It's not our field. Is this a huge threat to my ducks? What precautions do I take? I will hopefully have the heads up on days that it will be done so I can keep them cooped up but what should I do? Has anyone lost ducks like this? I've been trying to research but finding nothing. the fence will be 2 feet or less from the field.

First thing is to go over and ask what is being sprayed. Next pull up the material safety data sheet for that product and plan accordingly. Most products are safe within 24 hours or after the first rain.
