I've worked several times a month at a dairy goat farm, but I'm finally getting some chickens for my backyard! I've had them before, but we've given the coop a facelift, secured the yard and picked out breeds. I want to get a Rhode Island Red, an Ancona and a Easter Egger. I love this website! Lot's of good information, I'd love to hear tips from everyone!

The correct feed is very important and treats are always great
so I use a lot of Turkey feed for the 20+ protean

Bobcat the predator is something you will always need to guard
agents as they strike day and night and can destroy years of
work in a minute so a strong coop is needed

These chicks were put outside in January at 3 weeks of age
but need to be caged up on the porch of our work shop so
their health and well being can be cared for .....
