Remember to reinocluate your gut with a really good probiotic-- like probaclac( Walmart) as it has FAR more CFU ( colony forming units) and are worth taking all the time anyways. I cannot digest breads with out these capsules.Technical answer NONeed to put in one more window, take out my temp/tacked in monitor windows and get lighter strip in there I can open and shut.![]()
Had to make a quick tracker/grow out spot for my 4 Heritage RIR Kittle line chicks. Pretty sure only one of the four are pullet. So will have three cockerels to process or sell in the fall.
Two Nelson, two black austrolope and one white rock hatched this time from the Nelson eggs (guess they weren't all Nelsons) I gave him to hatch for me.![]()
He took home my incubator and checked it out for me. Temp was too low so he got me a digital better grade guage to use! Getting it back Wednesday morning. Will hatch out some green eggs I traded off my light brahmas for from here as practice myself. That way I can cull all the non breeder brown layers and eat the green eggs from the new pullets. I'll then have only the RIR when I gather hatching eggs... duh!
Ok I made a pie since Dr said no fried foods for three days. Had to bread and bake my chicken pieces. Still good.
roflMaking shakes with Lifeway Lowfat Kefir Probiotic smoothies. Have plain unsweetened but I'm adding fruits and a tad of honey. Just like the chickens like it! Haha
So much so they knocked it out of my hand sitting out there watching the babies.... didn't see the Adult attack on the glass coming!! A little thinner than sour cream but they didn't care. Snots.![]()
Bee, do you make your own, or buy it?? I'm guessing you make it-- goat, or cows milk??We drink buttermilk here....love it! My mother had a nasty ulcer filled with an overgrowth of H. pylori and was supposed to take two different broad spectrum antibiotics for two weeks along with GERD medicine but I had her drink buttermilk every day instead and it went away on its own. They retested her and it was gone. Now she is sure to drink her buttermilk frequently to maintain good bowel health.
I keep and use the buttermilk that is leftover from when I make butter from whipping cream.Bee, do you make your own, or buy it?? I'm guessing you make it-- goat, or cows milk??

THis begs the question-- why make your own butter from whipping cream when you can buy butter by the pound, wrapped in quarters already? ANd a second question-- do you innoculate the "leftovers" to get it started??
