Farsighted pullet

She can see bugs a few feet away but can’t pick it with her beak. Just pecks all around it. Same with me trying to hand feed her a dried mealworm. Pecks my fingers but misses the worm. If I toss some grain out she can’t pick out the pies but pecks the dirt all around it. As a younger chick she grabbed worms from me with ease.

Try putting food next to her right eye. The right eye sees close up and the left eye sees distance.
