Most of my tomato plants that I planted this year are developing these small dark brown spots that eventually kills the leaves. This is the first year that we have actually been able to grow successful plants and if they all die because of disease it would be really unfortunate. If you can help me identify and treat this disease, please let me know!
Thanks,

This looks like early blight. Pull all the affected leaves off without touching the healthy ones. Then put down straw or mulch around your plants. You can bring this into your garden with diseased plants or it already is there, and when it rains, it splashes dirt from the ground causing the blight. This is a fungus, and they sell some fungicides in the garden stores such a copper dragon and others, but mulch will help. It keeps coming back so watch for more spots and yellow leaves and get them off. It spreads from the bottom of the plant to the top and will eventually kill it if you don't control it.
