I have a question, do most of you other swappers pre-wash your fabric (FQ's) before you send them on to fellow swappers? All of the fabric I have on hand, that I bought for myself, I wash as soon as I get home with it.

I bought some Fall fabric and Halloween fabric for another swap that I have joined and I have not washed it (yet). I haven't cut it though either.

What do you all do?

FQ are not required to be washed, only if mine came out of my stash of prewashed and ironed fabrics and I will mark them as washed. because some FQ's are purchsed as that and are not washed so it is not required before shipping. just be sure to wash and iron before cutting and making quilt blocks.

yea, I had to buy some halloween fabric too, so the neww stuff is not washed and the ones from my stash are, besides if you wash it first it may shirnk at an angle then you can't cut a FQ out of it

Hey most of it is washed and in a big pile that needs to be ironed!! I have a love seat under it somewhere!!
