Soooo I have 4 light brahma babies about 6 weeks old. Before I go to chicken swap this weekend hoping to figure out how many hens vs roos images have. Afraid I have 3 boys to o e girl. No way I can get enough girls for 3 boys.

They’re still a little young to say for sure, but as a guess I would say Lucy could be a hen, but Taco, Katie, and Brutis look like boys.

Several of them I don’t see any head shots and at this age, comb size and coloring are the only thing to go by. You won’t see any male specific feathering until they’re quite a bit older. If you want to repost some really good clear photos showing they heads in profile it would help.

Brahma can take longer to mature, but yellow comb says pullet for now.

There’s till time for that to change. As others have said, brahmas can be notoriously hard to tell.

Brahmas can be deceptive because of their slow development. Don't give up on them too early.

Thanks y'all. I tried to get more pics but they just did not play nice before dark. I won't give up on them just yet if brahmas are that tricky.
