I do like EEs, they can be cute. But for me I have different needs in any chickens even mutts.
-Specific color
-Breeds true
-Know the exact breed/breeds
-Smart and less predator prone

Oh golly, I dono if they do or not. Seems like ppl breed anything with anything. Silkies with OEGB, for all I know! My "least predator prone" birds so far have been my brown leghorns, but shoo, they are practically feral. I like my Black Aussies real well... but .... I also like my green eggs. Kinda hard to find EVERYTHING you want in a single bird, ain't it! Hence, chicken math. Or maybe it's chicken meth! oh dear. Don't mind me, it's past my bedtime.

And this, people, is why I prefer gamefowl. So much smarter with everything (including predators) but also very human friendly if tamed as chicks. I don’t really care about egg color/amount.
