I have never had either, but Faverolles look so much more boofy and pancakey

EEs can come in so many more colors. AND they can have MASSIVE BOOFS. They can also have crests, OR BOTH!!!

I tend to like EEs, especially the bantams, because I can mix them in with my critically endangered Nankins and be able to tell which eggs belong to which breed right away.
Which leads me to a bit of a dilemma, because Faverolles are listed as "Threatened."
So ... therein lies the rub ... pretty eggs or saving a dying breed from possible extinction. I guess I'm sitting on the poultry fence with this one ... Decisions, Decisions!

Thanks @EmmaRainboe I completely side with Easter Eggers. They are practically the same, with the cute fluffy cheeks and beards. But, Easter Eggers lay colorful eggs while favorolles do not. They just lay plain old light brown orpington colored eggs. (I think...) I mean, look at this!:

Top two eggs are my EEs. Bottom one is orpington.
LOOK AT THAT BLUE!!!
I've never had faverolles though, so I don't know about personality, but my EEs are so sweet (well, one of them is the nicest of all five chickens(EEs, BR, ...the other is kind of scared but still super sweet).
