This year I did lots of research on what chickens to order. I ended up with going with salmon faverolles. Now we've had chickens for over ten years, we got some other chicks as well this year from tractor supply. One of those, ended up being an easter egger rooster. While he was beautiful, I must add that we have never once had an aggressive rooster in all those years. This rooster ended up being the meanest rooster you could imagine, if he saw me from across the pasture he would beeline towards me to flog me.

Hopefully this was just some unfortunate weird one-off situation, but I still probably won't be getting easter eggers ever again. As for my salmon faverolles, I love them. They're beautiful, winter hardy, adorable, good layers, good temperament.. list goes on. Good choice if you get harsh winters. I respect everybody's opinion though we can all agree chickens are great
