Faverolle with confused feet

i think its the fewathering that did it , i think somewere down the line when someone wanted to ad more feathering to the legs . it happens with some marans . tryinbg to ad feathers (or more feathers ) to the legs i have pics if u need

Fishhead's feathering on both of his feet is not excessive. They are equally feathered and typical of a faverolle (which, in my opinion, isn't as heavily feathered as other feather-footed breeds). The polydactyly gene makes the most sense to me since the gene does not guarantee bilateral digits in humans and presumably this would be similar in chickens.
 
Didn't mean the two were together was assessing rather or not to use a possible breeder a 4 toe bird with other strong traits may still be a candidate-
 
I appreciate I'm digging up an old thread here but I just found it in google, I also have a faverolle cock with 4 toes on one foot, so far his offspring have been about 8 out of 10 with normal 5 toes on each foot (those that don't are either the same as him with only 4 on 1 foot or they have only 4 on both) so I'm not too worried about it as he's stunning looking apart from that defect.
