Two salmon faverolles sold as pullets at Tractor Supply. Hatched out 4 July. We’ve named them Liberty and Independence…Libby and Indy😁
Chick A is smaller, chick B is larger. The most dramatic difference I see is the primary wing feather growth and tail feather growth. No noticeable personality differences. Thoughts on gender?

Size, wing and tail difference doesn't mean a thing. They're much too young to sex, try again in a few weeks, however, salmon favorelle males will get black neck/chest feathers.
I figured it was way too early…just such a difference in wing feathering between the two, I wondered. Faverolles roos are so different from the hens that once the baby down changes into juvenile feathers it should be easy to sex. Thanks so much!

Ah! Thanks for the reminder! Both chicks are feathering out as pullets. Chick B was sold with a group of other chicks, we kept chick A and I’m including a few pics of her here at 3+ weeks old (will be 1 month on 4 Aug). We think the “freckles” of her poor coloring are adorable! 🥰
