I have read that faverolles tend to be "low on the totem pole". How would they be with Orps & Cochins?

In a seperate coop I also have the "mix"- RIRs, BRs, WRs, Wyandottes- I might alternate the free-ranging so I can get some pure chicks next year.

Would a couple faverolles fit in? Or would they be picked on?

No Faverolle people out there?

I've got one - everyone was born about 7 weeks ago - I have cochins, polish, meat birds, araucanas, buff orpingtons, NJ giants and a welsummer. Everyone is getting along fine at this point - the faverolles takes care of herself and has even fluffed up her neck feathers at one of the much bigger meat birds. Not sure how she'll be when everyone is full grown but the breeds I picked were mostly described as docile or extremely docile.

My Faverolles did fine with other breeds of birds. If she was the first bird in the group before the rest of them came along, she would be dominate. All of my Faverolles came from private show breeders, not hatcheries.
