Faverolles dust bath- bad chick alert.

I've been letting my chooks wander around the yard (even with 3 dogs). I am fascinated with watching chooks acting like chickens. They are so much like children. Anywho, we live in the desert, and I had put in a tiny patch to grow grass for the dogs. There is a fair amount of soil in the area, and no grass

The chooks happened upon the area, promptly cleared the tree seeds and took a bath. One chick trilled her voice- I don't know how they do that- but I like the sound. Hope you enjoy.

Great videos. I love the chick trill. when we first got chickens I was expecting "peeps", but they often sing like songbirds. Its weird that turns to clucks, boks and cackles later on.

Wow, I never knew a chicken could make a face as happy as a warm cat and purr too!

Can't wait to get mine outside!
