Hello,

I have a beautiful salmon faverolles, 7mo, called Tiramisu. I noticed recently that she has funny light coloured comb/ears(both sides). I wondered if it could be a fungal thing?

She also shakes her head abit, like maybe it's irritating? But has been doing that for a while now.

Otherwise seems healthy and happy, good appetite etc.

Pic if it helps (excuse the dirty hands, was gardening prior to taking pic!)

Cheers

Looks like normal color bleed on the ears.

Do check for lice/mites and look in her ears for mites or infection. Shaking the head can just be something normal she does.

Interesting!
Thanks for the reply.

Looking at some of the other pictures on this channel I think my other Pekins might have something on their combs anyway. But that's good to know for now!

Cheers
