Yep, they're awesome! Here's mine, though he's a buff Orp x buff Fav mix. A mix with salmon Fav will give you something a little different though. Boys will be mostly white, with varying degrees of color in them, and the girls will be a lighter buff.

My fav eggs from UA are on their way. I am quite excited. Too bad I didn't get more Houdans, as promised.

Lovely! So your pic is a Favorelle and Buff mix? I love it! I am so excited to be getting both breeds..I have read nothing but good things about them. My roo will be the Favorolle.
I've heard that the Fav's can be a little frail and easily picked on, currently I have All pullets: Australorp, White and Brown Leghorns and a Red sex link, do yo think they will be ok?
Oh, and a newly hatched Ancona (unknown sex).

Yep, but his darker buff is because both parents were buff already...the salmon Fav / buff Orp cross chicks are SUPER cute too! :)

The only one in that group that I would be initially concerned about is the Sex Link....though you can have exceptions in any breed, you'll have to watch the Favs closely to make sure they aren't being bullied, also handle them regularly so you can see if they are thin / not getting enough to eat...they are so fluffy, it's nearly impossible to tell if they are too thin without handling them.
