seems like you got a boy. unless the hatchery quality has gotten that badAll except 1 of my Salmons (5ish weeks) have a lot of black in their feathers. The 2 extremes of the 4 are pictured above (least black and most black left to right.) Not something I see in pictures of mature gals. Will they grow out of this, or do I just have darker-than-usual chickens? Don't plan on breeding or showing, just out of curiosity.
I do hope they're full Faverolles though, as I would hate not to have all their cute looks when they're older.
They do have 5 toes and feathered legs though, so I know at least they got that going on
