Faverolles Thread

I will try for a better pic tomorrow. Thanks. It is yellow with three little grey stripes down its back. At first when it was wet, I thought it looked blue unlike the other 3. Now it is dry it looks yellow.

So glad he's back! If only he could tell the tale of the adventure he had during those six days...

OMG, I don't think I could stand to know. I'm glad not to know and that he is home with me. He gets under my feet and just stands there. I think he wants me to pick him up but I got stuff I got to do. I will hold him later but I am so thankful he's back.

Do any colours of Faverolles have a striped chick? Does anyone know?

I think there is a problem with posting pictures this evening. I have seen comments about the problem in other threads.

In general, no….but that does not mean you don't have a quality chick…..its another one of the mysteries that has happened over the last few years. Just like i have mahoganies and Blacks, but very often hatch white and splash from them.

BTW, i looked at Cackle hatchery where some of my first ones came from long ago and they have real pics and the text seems like they actually show them…..Ideal only has drawings.
