Faverolles Thread

They should be grown in by that size. Are the others missing tails aswwell? If so, my guess is that the previous flock had a feather picker. If they are broken off, you will have to wait for molt for them to regrow. If they are completely pulled out, high protein feed can help with the re feathering.
 
I just wanted to let everyone know that I received absolutely beautiful pair of Faverolle pullets from Matt Hemmer of Smoky Butte Ranch. They arrived healthy and happy and even laid eggs in the box for me! The girls are beautiful and so very sweet.
Matt was excellent to deal with and very helpful in waiting for the right time to ship.
So if you are looking for non hatchery stock of Faverolles, consider Matt!
 
Congratulations! I know they're so hard to find. Thanks for posting his info. I've been scouring the Internet looking for Favorelles. If this batch of eggs doesn't hatch I'll have an option of buying pullets or chicks! Do you have pictures?
