Good for you! I have some 4 week old Faverolles from Melissa and they are really nice. Sending good hatching (and safe shipping) vibes your way!
Here are some new pictures the boy got his beard wet again before I took the photos the hens have also been plucking it a bit but he does have a bunch of pin feathers coming in.
Here is the Leisha Comer Hen her beard is dark but she has great lacing, type, and will add black/ solid blue in the tails which is something judges look for in favs.
here is a size comparison between my Fav pullet and the Bantam Columbian Wyndotte hen I got from Brody's Broodello she is a scrappy little girl though.
I have some pictures of our Faverolles on our website. We have been rasing and showing them for 2 years now and they are the sweetest birds. Check out our website at http://sandmpoultry.webs.com/ I do have eggs available, if anyone is interested. Mine are a combination of Isgrigg and Boulanger.
Ok, so of the 3 chicks I have from the first batch of Melissa's eggs, I'm pretty sure I have 2 whites, I'm waiting a while to see for sure though, cuz there might be a little faint salmon coloring in the very tips of the feathers. BUT, on this third one, I'm wondering if it's a blue salmon pullet? The dark coloring on the wings is NOT black, it's definitely a grayish color, but I've never had a blue salmon before, so I'm just not sure...
