I'm not much of a help, but I had eggs show up here 22 days after being dropped off at a TX PO. I didn't even bother to put them in the bator as I was afraid they'd eventually blow up. I just tossed the whole lot. I know TX is a big place. Does the PO lose stuff regularly down there???

This has happened to me twice in 3 years... the other order was never found and the fellow was furious... I offered a refund (others had paid and were waiting for eggs) and he demanded replacements... he was so angry and nasty that i told him that before I would replace or refund he would have to leave good feedback... he left me horrible feedback (which I knew he would)... what a mess... I am glad to hear it is not just me that has gotten left behind by the PO... my poor buyer... she is the one I feel bad for I refunded her but it seems a shame that she even paid postage.

They're from your eggs-aren't they beautiful? I think I like the boys better.

I love baby Favs... they go through a gawky stage as teens and the males especially can look like a kelidascope until their color settles but overall they are just so precious... sometimes with those little wings and big feet and 5 toes they make me think of a prehistoric bird, LOL!

I didn't blame the seller. She sent out eggs to NY at the same time and they were also lost. She offered to send replacement eggs for the cost of shipping and that's fair as far as I'm concerned. It's not her fault the PO lost them for so long, nor is it my fault they were lost for 3 weeks.

End result was 12 chicks.

Go chickies! I am hatching w/BW Ameraucanas tonight... 12 out so far and pips galore! They are sooo cute... too bad they are sold.

Ya I wish I could keep everything I am hatching. I am keeping only one or two pullets from each breed and nothing more but I want to keep them all! I have silver penciled rocks and lav D'uccles due the 4th and 6th!

Give me about a week and I'll let you know. I have gone ahead and placed some older eggs in with my recent batch. I don't expect much to come of them as some of them are approx 3 weeks... I'll be candling very early to catch anything that isn't working.

Hope you get something. Sometimes I wonder about USPS
