Faverolles Thread

Still just one chick. No more pips. But my BOs did hatch a day late so maybe these will too???..... On a positive note the one does have 5 toes and looks really cute and lil next to the BO chicks.

Henry and others who have hatched the blue salmons: i have one chick that came out a slightly darker yellow than the rest. is that one going possibly going to be a blue? i also noticed there are dark feather tips showing already on 2 of the chicks!

I am not sure about the down color. All of my chicks male and female have had dark wingtips at first its not till the secondary wing feathers come in that you can really tell sex. I have one blue salmon pullet growing out now from the boy I sent cloverleaf. She is being raised by a broody so she is a spaz.

It looks like three cockerels and three pullets to me. A pair of whites one off colored blue/buff male and one blue male. They are beautiful did you get these from Dick? That is the only person in the RI MA area that I think has blue and white Faverolles. I love them!

Yes. Where? I looked on Internet for hours and still couldn't find it.

I think I may have to buy the ABA book just to get the blue and black faverolles bantam standard. I do want to buy the APA as well to get the LF faverolles standard today my mom said she missed having LF faverolles

So that basically put a cabash in any of her downsizing plans ha ha. Hopefully I can find a few LF either BBS or salmons I just want a few hens maybe a trio.

hcammack,
I got them from a guy in Douglas Ma, he had a bunch of them. I never got his name..

they were, I thougth I bought 5 pullets and 1 rooster,
I have the white one (the one on the left, and the known Rooster are always fighting) I don't know if I should sell him or keep him ????
I'm new to this, so the Gray are called Blue?
I did not realize the 5th toe until the other day, I thought it was a defect, but its normal for them..
