The boy looks to me to be a blue salmon. Henry is right about the patch on the neck. That is acceptable for showing, does not count against you. I keep all my show birds in seperate pens (just like at a show). All my cockerels are running around outside in their pen together. It takes so long for them to mature, it is easir for me to watch them out there.
