Another picture, these four are the same age 3 months and they live togather and are great friends, going to try to intergrate them into the flock in a few days.

They look like hatchery faverolles to me. Most of the pictures your seeing on this thread are of exhibition quality or breeder quality Faverolles.

Thanks,I know this breed is timid are they going to have a harder time intergrating with the flock of older birds?I have black and red sexlinks.EE`S and buff orpingtons. They are one and two year olds, big coop and big run for them.

I always have trouble integrating birds but then again my Faverolles were the number one hens in my mixed flock. Its always difficult to integrate new birds into any flock but eventually they should settle in they look old enough to me. Is there a place for them to hide in the coop? Also make sure they get food and water the first couple days they are in with the big girls.

Hi,
I raise bantam Salmon Faverolles for show. I wanted to join the Faverolle club and have a meet at our show last year, but after a friend (who also raises Faverolles) contacted someone in charge of the club (in Ohio) , they were rude and stand-offish! How do I go about having a Faverolle meet at our show without the B.S. ?

Hope your not talking about Leisha

contact Leisha and she will set you up with membership and also a meet you could probably even get it in the newest newsletter if you hurry. Leisha isn't rude or stand-offish at all that I have experienced. Maybe your friend talked to someone else or she was having a bad day. Here User Name on the site is Comer'spoultry and her email is [email protected].

Their runs are beside each other so they see each other all the time,I`ve intergrated a few times before so I know what to look for,I did have a hiding place in the coop for the bo`s that were born in the coop,I had a big moose horn laying up against the laying boxes but now the big hens have taken it over and lay there eggs in there, will have to think of something else.
