Ah, whites. Now I understand. (I'm up past my bedtime.) White can be a pain.

Many do hide salmon. Unless you hatch a silver gene white, in which case the chick will be grey, it is possible the chick carries salmon.

The dark boy is my favorite too even though his comb isn't great. The roo in the following pics is another I'm watching.

Everyone's birds look so nice

Well I finally was able to take a few more pics, so thought I'd post them. The little blue/lav gal is sun-bathing in one, and wouldnt stand still long enough to take any good side shots, but we all know how birds are

Check the underfluff and wing/tailfeathers to determine if she's either a regular, blue or splash salmon. Grey fluff and grey/black tailfeathers means salmon, blue-grey and blue tailfeathers means blue salmon, and white fluff and tailfeather means splash. I think yours is either a salmon or blue salmon, but it's tough to tell.

Love the roo! And the splash girl.

So everyone I leave in the morning for college taking a break from throwing myself into all of the last minuet things I have postponed like ordering books, registering my bike, and of course packing

The life of a teenage guy ha ha. I won't be on at all from the 20th to the 27th because I will be on my Trek orientation Canoeing trip. I just wanted to say I am really inspired by all the great people on this thread who are working to preserve this amazing breed. For the first semester my birds will be at home with my parents and brother caring for them please keep them in your thoughts ha ha I am just hoping nothing bad happens my parents and brother seem to sometimes be forgetful. I hope to be able to bring my flock up to Vermont second semester by housing them either in their coop or on the dairy of horse barns property. Or find a stall or something to rent to keep them in near campus. I will try and come on from time to time to update you guys but I won't be on as much as I have in the past. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have anything to tell me as I won't be checking PM's as often. Hope everyones bird keep thriving and I will give you guys update about my birds as I get them from my parents.

Thanks,
Henry
