I am so happy for you. Glad my stock was able to help. I need to come down to your fair this year and see them.

I was so worried about this hatch, have never incubated bantams before, so it made me nervous! Absolutely come down to the fair!!! It is the 3rd week in July!!!! Hopefully I don't end up w/ all cockerels!

if things go right, he will take his pair from last year back as hen/rooster and have a new pair to take as pullet/cockerel! He is really excited!

I'm so jealous! I'm getting eggs from my Faverolles, but I only have three incubators and they are going to be full of goose eggs this month. I can't wait to start hatching baby chicks this summer!

Congrats on all the great hatches so far!

Speaking of whites, I have a white LF cockerel I bought from Tamsen and Karen Polley at the show last month. I think he's recessive white though since both his parents are Salmon and he has some salmon leakage on his shoulders. I need a very light rooster for some of my dark hens, and I thought I would try to breed them to the white cockerel. His parents were fairly light, and his salmon brother was as well. Has anyone else bred any birds like this? I am breeding for salmons, but I wouldn't complain if I hatched out whites as well.

Thanks,

For those looking for LF eggs, I noticed Melissa has another 24 hour auction for LF salmon eggs going on.

This has to be my fave breed, I only have one pair of bannys though. I have an order placed for some eggs, but I'm really wanting some sooner. Does anyone know where I can get chicks or possibly adults?
