Faverolles Thread

unfortunately there is no faverolles breeds in my country and regions

I don't know what to do?

I'm trying to get my rooster Fabio ready for the Little Rhody poultry show but I'm afraid I've waited to long to even begin to prepare him!

I have exactly 6 Weeks before the show on the 20th of May! Does anyone know weather or not his tail feathers will grow in before the show? I'm thinking of pulling his main and lesser sickle feathers along with his tail coverts in hopes that they will grow in before the show! Ive herd that things like cat food and bird suet help feathers grow in faster but will it be fast enough?

Any advice and or help would be much appreciated! Thank you everyone and anyone! I just need to know if its worth trying to prepare him for the show or if I'm to late!

You are going to have to pull them and hope for the best

You could go ahead and pull them but they won't be back in in 6 weeks. They would be better to just let it go and wait for him to molt.
