Faverolles Thread

Hello, I am new to the thread. We just had a good hatch 6 weeks ago. We started with 15 Salmon Favorelle (LF)eggs, hatched 12 and have a perfect split, 6 girls - 6 boys. We are needing to thin the flock, as they are not the only chicks. We are wanting to sell 3 girls and 4 boys. We are in Arkansas. I really don't want to ship, I would rather meet someone half way. If anyone is interested, I will post on buy sell trade Sunday. I thought I might mention it here first. Thanks.

I just wanted to say for all the new peeps here...the next Faverolles newsletter will be out in about 2 weeks, so it's a great time to join the club!!
Membership gets you 4 newsletters a year (members can advertise in the newsletter for free!) access to a membership / breeders directory, makes you eligible for club points at any show you go to, and eligible for club awards at any club meet.

$15/year individual
$8/year junior
$20/year family (to include 2 adults and all minor children in household)

Thanks. I love it when they roost or sit down. They just become a big ball of feathers.
Good! The pullet looks like she has nice slate under color, and her breast is clean. The male will change a TON before he's mature, so it's really hard to say at this age, but it looks like he'll be really dark.
