Did you socialize with him as a chick? I'm pretty sure one of my Faverolle chicks is a roo, so I want to get a rough estimate of what his temperament will be like, if I socialize with him when he is a chick (which I already did)

Oh, so a cockerel. Aren't Blues pretty rare?

I suppose they are, won't be easy finding unrelated hens/roosters when I eventually need some. I have a black pullet that I'm going to breed him with though.

What are you basing your thoughts on? I would have said #1 may be cockerel and the other two pullets?

Pullets???? I tried comparing them to pics on here and web, but the dark feathers are confusing me! i got them from a hatchery(have read hatchery birds can be darker, but that much??) theres 2 and they both look bout same color wise, they're 2 weeks old.

DuckiesGarden, looks like a dark pullet and a cockerel to me. Hatchery pullets can be dark, but not usually BLACK.
