Hi everyone!

I recently hatched some eggs from Cloverleaf. It was a bad hatch and I only got 2 out of 7. Brinsea is replacing my malfunctioning incubator free of charge.

But anyways, I thought they were boys when they first hatched because they each had dark spots on their wings and started feathering charcoal colored wing tips. Now I'm starting to think I was totally wrong and I'm pretty positive they're both actually girls. I just need confirmation. This is my first experience with faverolles.

Thanks poularde, I feel pretty dumb. I just kind of wrote them off once I thought they were boys and put them out in the grow pen. Then this morning I was checking them out and I was like...duh! No black!

Well... Ya'll remember I posted a pic a bit ago showing my odd ball faverolle boy, the one who isn't coloring in right... Here he is a few days back... He's getting quite big... Still odd colored though.

He's a beautifully rich color. I'd not mind more looking like him, but I don't know which hen he's from...
