Very nice!  Good color and shape.

Thank you very much! I adore them. They are my birds, but ehen my son gets into 4h, I am going to let him show them. He is five now, and from what I understand, the birds off the young ones don't really get critiques, so not worth showing yet. I want to know what the judges think so we can improve on them. I know I need to work on combs, all my faves lack there.

2 Hens and 1 cockerel came from eggs I hatched last year from piperomar The other cock and hens came from various places, the cock from a show here in Florida last January. I had a total of 15 to choose from, and only kept the 6.

I am purchasing more eggs from piper this year and hatching out bunches of chicks already... my husband is getting grumpy, guess he caught on to the fact i have 50 chicks coming as well. Oooooooppps.

Hello all, we have some Bantam Faverolle and we have been hatching what I think is Blue Birchen chicks, wondering if anyone else has any so I can compare notes some. Thanks in advance.

It isn't uncommon to have blues with silver (or gold) leakage in the hackles. It can extend to the wingbow and saddle as well. Pics would help.

We have a male with the silver hackles and chocolate wing tips and the females have the chocolate wing tips. We plan on mating them to see if we can bring it out more. They're both 4 weeks old here. The first pic is the cockerel.
