Faverolles Thread

And, their prices are outrageous. I want to know why they charge $5-$20 more per chick than other breeders/hatcheries do?

Nice, you'll have to keep us updated on how they like em. I debated on getting them, but just wasnt sure how good they would really work...

I have all my chickens on them when it isn't below freezing and it works great. I took away all the wanted beside the bucket with the nipples and they learned fast. I it 25 for $11 on eBay

Thats great! I'll have to look into it more. May be something that will work better for us!

it's this a normal looking month old, salmon faverolles feet? Not sure if its just new feathering or they are picking at it,

are salmon faverolle pullets normally darker at one month? I have one that is really white, and two others that are really dark compared to it

I looked at a few of the breed on tere. I had never heard of them. From the ones I looked at it didn't look priced that bad and there pictures showed some decent quality chickens.
$22 for a 6 week old pullet is a bit much, IMHO. At least now they have a picture of their actual Faverolles, instead of using ones from Kate Hart.
